Download the main manuals for your signage projects for free
Greetings designers! Throughout the text, we will present some details about each CONTRAN Signaling Manual.

The time has come to develop a road signage project, and fundamental questions begin to arise, such as:
- What type of vertical signage should be used in a given section?
- What is the appropriate color for horizontal road markings?
- What is the correct size for road signs according to the type of road?
- What standard should be followed to implement a pedestrian crossing?
These answers cannot be defined subjectively. Every road signage project must be based on official technical standards, and the main reference for this is the Brazilian Traffic Signage Manual, published by CONTRAN.
The National Traffic Council (CONTRAN) is the highest regulatory and advisory body of the National Traffic System, responsible for establishing the guidelines that govern all other traffic agencies in the country.
In this content, we have compiled all volumes of the Brazilian Traffic Signalling Manual from CONTRAN in PDF format, so that you can consult them whenever necessary during the development of your projects.
In practice, these standards also serve as the basis for specialized design tools. sinC It was developed considering the guidelines established by CONTRAN, allowing vertical, horizontal, traffic light and construction signage to be implemented in accordance with the Brazilian Signage Manual, from the initial project phases to final stages such as quantification and BIM modeling.
